Shrimp and Sauce Ingredients
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
Vegetable Ingredients
  • 1 bell pepper thinly sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, minced garlic, and soy sauce.
  2. Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat and add olive oil.
Cooking
  1. Add shrimp in a single layer and cook undisturbed for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes, then flip and cook for another 1 to 1 1/2 minutes until pink and opaque. Remove shrimp to prevent overcooking.
  2. Add the sliced bell pepper and broccoli to the pan and stir-fry for 3 to 4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  3. Return the shrimp to the pan and pour the honey garlic mixture over. Toss for 30 to 60 seconds until sauce thickens.
  4. Season with salt and pepper and serve immediately over rice or noodles.

Notes
