Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan and line it with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
Mixing
- In a larger bowl, whisk together the melted butter, vegetable oil, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until combined.
- Add the mashed bananas to the wet ingredient mixture and stir until incorporated.
- Gently fold in the dry ingredients, being careful not to overmix.
- Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
Baking
- Pour the batter into your prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a skewer inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow the bread to cool in the pan until slightly warm, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
