- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 4x8 inch loaf pan.
- In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
- Stir in the melted butter until the mixture is well combined.
- Add the baking soda and a pinch of salt, mixing thoroughly.
- Incorporate the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract, stirring until everything is nicely blended.
- Gently fold in the flour until just incorporated; avoid overmixing.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let the bread cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
