Dessert Base
  • 2 boxes boxes Vanilla Wafers
  • 6 to 8 pieces bananas, sliced Use ripe bananas for sweetness.
  • 1 container container strawberries Fresh strawberries for better flavor.
Pudding Mixture
  • 2 cups cups milk
  • 1 (5 oz.) box box French Vanilla pudding Or substitute with chocolate pudding for a variation.
  • 1 (8 oz.) package package cream cheese Can substitute Greek yogurt for a lighter option.
  • 1 (14 oz.) can can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 (12 oz.) container container whipped topping For topping at the end.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk until smooth.
  2. Add the French Vanilla pudding and milk to the mixture and stir until well combined.
  3. In a large serving dish, layer the vanilla wafers, followed by a layer of sliced bananas and strawberries.
  4. Pour half of the pudding mixture over the fruit and wafers.
  5. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients, finishing with the pudding mixture on top.
  6. Spread the whipped topping over the final layer.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
Serving
  1. Serve chilled, straight from the refrigerator, scooped into bowls or individual cups.
  2. Garnish with extra slices of strawberries or bananas.
