  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 cup chicken broth Can use low-sodium or regular.
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream For a lighter option, consider half-and-half.
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce Can substitute with soy sauce if needed.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For searing the chicken.
  • 1 piece onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons flour To thicken the sauce.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Season the chicken thighs with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  2. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat and sear the chicken thighs until golden brown, about 5 minutes per side.
  3. Remove the chicken and set it aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the diced onion and minced garlic, sauté until softened for around 3 minutes.
  5. Sprinkle flour over the onion and garlic, stirring for 1 minute.
Cooking
  1. Slowly add chicken broth while stirring to combine, then add heavy cream and Worcestershire sauce.
  2. Return the chicken to the skillet, reduce heat to low, and simmer for approximately 25-30 minutes until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
