Ingredients
  

For the Quesadillas
  • 1 lb ground beef You can use pre-cooked ground beef to save time.
  • Salt Season generously.
  • Pepper Season generously.
  • Garlic powder Add to taste.
  • 4 large flour tortillas Use smaller tortillas for snack-sized portions.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or American cheese Feel free to swap for pepper jack or feta.
Optional Toppings
  • pickles For added crunch and tang.
  • diced onions For added flavor.
  • burger sauce For dipping.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Heat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.
  2. Take a small handful of ground beef and press it onto one half of each tortilla. Season generously with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Cooking
  1. Cook the beef side down for 2 to 3 minutes until browned.
  2. Carefully flip the tortilla, sprinkle cheese on top of the beef, then fold it in half.
  3. Grill each side until the tortilla is crispy and the cheese has melted.
  4. Slice into wedges and serve with your favorite burger toppings or dipping sauce.
