  • 1 cup peanut butter (creamy or crunchy) Use according to your preference.
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs Use at room temperature.
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 36 pieces chocolate kisses For topping the cookies.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, blend together the peanut butter, sugar, and brown sugar until creamy.
  3. Add in the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually blend the dry mixture into the peanut butter mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on a lined baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges turn light golden brown.
  8. Immediately press a chocolate kiss into the center of each cookie after removing from the oven.
  9. Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes
