Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Let the oven come to temperature before the fish goes in.
- Lightly oil a baking dish or line it with parchment for easy cleanup.
- In a small bowl, mash the garlic butter and brown sugar together until smooth and slightly glossy. Taste and adjust—add a pinch of salt if your butter is unsalted.
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
Cooking
- Brush the garlic-butter mixture generously over the top of each fillet.
- Sprinkle paprika, salt, and pepper (and any other spices you like) over the coated fillets.
- Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 15–20 minutes until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
Serving
- Serve immediately while warm and glossy.
