Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 13x9-inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, combine the yellow cake mix, 2 eggs, butter, and vanilla; mix well until the batter is stiff.
- Add the cake batter to the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
- In a separate bowl, combine the confectioners' sugar, cream cheese, and the remaining 2 eggs; mix well.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the top of the cake batter.
Baking
- Bake the cake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, about 35 minutes.
- Let the cake cool completely before cutting.
Serving
- Cut the cake into squares and serve on a plate.
- Optional: Enjoy plain or add a dollop of whipped cream or fresh fruit on the side.
