  • 1 package (15.25 ounces) yellow cake mix
  • 4 pieces eggs 2 for the batter, 2 for the filling
  • 0.5 cup butter softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Filling Ingredients
  • 4 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 13x9-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the yellow cake mix, 2 eggs, butter, and vanilla; mix well until the batter is stiff.
  3. Add the cake batter to the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the confectioners' sugar, cream cheese, and the remaining 2 eggs; mix well.
  5. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the top of the cake batter.
Baking
  1. Bake the cake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, about 35 minutes.
  2. Let the cake cool completely before cutting.
Serving
  1. Cut the cake into squares and serve on a plate.
  2. Optional: Enjoy plain or add a dollop of whipped cream or fresh fruit on the side.
