Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
- Mix the sugar and melted butter into the mashed bananas until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and then incorporate them into the banana mixture.
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl.
- Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the banana mixture until just combined. Be careful not to overmix!
- Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan, spreading it evenly.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the banana bread to cool in the pan for a few minutes before slicing.
