  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded Can use leftover rotisserie chicken.
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup Can substitute with cream of chicken.
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped Sautéing can enhance flavor.
  • 1/2 cup celery, chopped Sautéing can enhance flavor.
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked rice, shredded chicken, cream of mushroom soup, milk, half of the cheddar cheese, onion, celery, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  3. Mix everything together until well combined.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese over the top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the casserole is bubbly and golden.
  7. Allow it to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy with your loved ones!
