Preparation
- Combine the honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic in a small bowl. Stir until smooth.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high. Add the olive oil and swirl to coat.
Cooking Shrimp
- Add the shrimp in a single layer. Cook undisturbed for 1–2 minutes.
- Flip and cook 1–2 more minutes until pink and opaque.
- Reduce heat to medium. Pour the honey-garlic sauce over the shrimp. Toss to coat and simmer for 1–2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Assembly
- Divide cooked rice between bowls. Top rice with the glazed shrimp. Add steamed broccoli and sliced carrot.
- Sprinkle chopped green onions and sesame seeds over each bowl. Serve immediately and enjoy.
