Preparation
- Whisk the sauce: In a small bowl combine honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic until smooth. Set aside.
- Heat the pan: Warm a large skillet over medium heat and add the olive oil. Heat until it shimmers.
Cooking
- Sear the shrimp: Place the shrimp in a single layer and let them cook undisturbed for 2 to 3 minutes, until a light sear forms on the bottom.
- Flip and finish: Turn the shrimp and cook another 2 to 3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque through the center.
- Glaze the shrimp: Pour the honey-garlic mixture over the shrimp and stir constantly for 1 to 2 minutes. The sauce should bubble and thicken enough to coat the shrimp.
- Season and serve: Taste, add salt and pepper as needed, then remove from heat and serve immediately over rice or with steamed vegetables.

Notes
For best results, pat shrimp dry before cooking to achieve a better sear. If the sauce thickens too quickly, you can add a teaspoon or two of water to loosen it while stirring. Serve with any extra glaze over the rice or vegetables.
