Preparation
- Mince the garlic and thinly slice the green onions.
- Whisk the honey, soy sauce, and rice vinegar together in a small bowl and set aside.
Cooking
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the neutral oil.
- Add the ground turkey to the hot pan. Break it up with a spatula and let it brown undisturbed for about 2 minutes to develop color.
- Continue to cook and stir the turkey until no pink remains, about 5–7 minutes total.
- Push the turkey to one side of the skillet. Add the minced garlic to the empty space and cook for 20–30 seconds until fragrant.
- Mix the garlic into the turkey so the flavor distributes evenly.
- Pour the honey-soy mixture over the turkey and let it simmer for 2–3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in the sesame oil and add red pepper flakes if using. Taste and adjust seasoning with a pinch of salt or more soy sauce if needed.
- Remove from heat, sprinkle with the sliced green onions, and let the pan sit for a minute to thicken the glaze.
