  • 1 lb lean ground turkey
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce Use low-sodium soy sauce if desired
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar Can substitute with apple cider vinegar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste Soy sauce adds saltiness
  • Optional: green onions for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a small bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and minced garlic. Whisk until smooth and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Cooking
  1. Add the ground turkey to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until no longer pink and lightly browned, about 6–8 minutes.
  2. Pour the honey-garlic mixture over the cooked turkey and stir to coat evenly.
  3. Let the mixture simmer for 3–4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce becomes glossy and slightly reduced.
  4. Taste and season with salt and pepper as needed.
  5. Serve hot and top with sliced green onions for crunch, if desired.
