Preparation

  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground turkey, onion, and garlic over medium heat until the turkey is browned, reaching an internal temperature of 165°F.
  3. Add the rice, diced tomatoes, chicken broth, mixed vegetables, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Mix well.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish.
  5. Cover with foil and bake for 25-30 minutes.
