Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the yellow cake mix, melted butter, and 1 egg. Mix until well blended.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased 9x13 inch baking pan.
- In another bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, 2 eggs, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the cake mix layer in the pan.
Baking
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the top is lightly browned and the center is set.
- Let it cool before cutting into squares and serving.
