For the Fruit Salsa
  • 2 cups mixed fresh fruit (strawberries, kiwi, mango, etc.) Use any combination of seasonal fruits.
  • 1 unit lime, juiced This prevents browning of the fruit.
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional) Add for extra sweetness if desired.
For the Pita Chips
  • 4 pieces pita bread pockets Cut into triangles for easy baking.
  • 2 tablespoons sugar For the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon Add flavor to the pita chips.
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter Brush on the pita before baking.

Preparation
  1. In a medium bowl, combine the mixed fresh fruit and lime juice. If desired, add honey for extra sweetness. Stir gently to combine.
  2. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  3. Cut the pita bread into triangles and place them on a baking sheet.
  4. Brush the pita triangles with melted butter.
  5. In a small bowl, mix together sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle this mixture over the pita triangles.

  1. Bake for about 10-12 minutes or until the pita chips are golden and crispy.

Notes
