Ingredients
  

For the Beef Marinade
  • 1 lb beef sirloin, sliced thinly
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce (gluten-free if needed)
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
For Serving
  • Cooked rice, for serving (optional)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, garlic, and ginger. Add the beef and marinate for at least 15 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Add marinated beef to the pan and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add the broccoli and a splash of water, cover, and steam for about 2-3 minutes or until the broccoli is tender.
  4. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Serve hot on its own or over cooked rice.

Notes

For the best results, slice the beef thinly for quick cooking. You can also add bell peppers or snap peas for more vegetables. Adjust soy sauce as per your taste.
