  • 1 lb beef (sliced thin) Choose tender cuts like flank or sirloin.
  • 2 cups broccoli florets Should be bright green and slightly crisp.
Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch Used for marinating beef.
Flavorings
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon ginger (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil For cooking.
  • to taste Salt and pepper
For Serving
  • Cooked rice For serving.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Add beef to the mixture and marinate for 15 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add garlic and ginger, sautéing for about 30 seconds.
  3. Add the marinated beef to the skillet and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Add broccoli and a splash of water. Cover and steam for 3-4 minutes or until broccoli is tender but still crisp.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
Serving
  1. Serve Easy Beef and Broccoli hot over fluffy cooked rice. Optionally, add sesame seeds or chopped green onions on top.

Notes
