Ingredients
  

Cookie Base Ingredients
  • 70 g Brown Sugar
  • 70 g Sugar
  • 115 g Butter (melted)
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 220 g Plain Flour
  • 1 tbsp Cornflour
  • ½ tsp Baking Soda
  • ½ tsp Baking Powder
  • ½ tsp Salt
Frosting Ingredients
  • 90 g Butter (softened)
  • 90 g Cream Cheese
  • 250 g Icing Sugar

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a bowl, mix brown sugar, sugar, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract.
  3. In another bowl, combine plain flour, cornflour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture. Stir until combined.
  5. Scoop cookie dough onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Baking
  1. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden.
  2. Let the cookies cool on a rack.
Frosting
  1. In a separate bowl, beat softened butter and cream cheese together.
  2. Gradually mix in icing sugar until smooth.
  3. Frost the cooled cookies with the cream cheese frosting.

Notes
