  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup dill pickles, chopped
Batter and Coating
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • Oil for frying enough to fill the frying pan

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded cheddar cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese, and chopped dill pickles.
  2. In another bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika together.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk the egg until well-beaten.
  4. Form the cheese and pickle mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  5. Roll each ball in the flour mixture, making sure to coat it evenly.
  6. Dip the coated balls in the beaten egg, followed by a coating of breadcrumbs.
Cooking
  1. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  2. Fry the cheese bites until they are golden and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.
