Main Ingredients
  • 2 cups shredded chicken Use cooked or rotisserie chicken for extra convenience.
  • 1 can (15 oz) white beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (4 oz) green chilies
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder Adjust to taste.
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup cream or sour cream For a thicker chili, add more cream.
Toppings
  • Cheese Shredded cheese for serving.
  • Avocado Diced avocado for serving.
  • Tortilla chips For added crunch.

Method
 

Cooking
  1. In a slow cooker, combine shredded chicken, white beans, chicken broth, diced onion, minced garlic, green chilies, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4 hours.
  3. Just before serving, stir in the cream or sour cream.
Serving
  1. Serve your chili hot in bowls and top with cheese, avocado, and tortilla chips.

Notes
