Cooking the Steak Bites
- Heat olive oil in a medium skillet over medium-high heat.
- Once the oil is hot and shimmering, add steak bites in a single layer, searing for 1 ½ to 2 minutes without moving.
- Flip the steak bites and cook for another 1 to 2 minutes, or until they reach your desired doneness.
- Reduce heat to medium and add half of the cowboy butter to the pan, tossing the steak bites to coat.
- Cook for 1 additional minute until the butter is melted and the steak is evenly glazed.
- Melt the remaining cowboy butter in the microwave and serve on the side for dipping or drizzling.
- Serve hot from the skillet on a platter with extra cowboy butter drizzled on top.
