Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, sugar, egg, vanilla extract, baking soda, and salt. Mix until the mixture is smooth and well blended.
- Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Using a fork, gently press each cookie down to create a crisscross pattern on top.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cookies are lightly golden around the edges.
- Allow them to cool on the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
