For the Dough
  • 1 cup peanut butter Creamy peanut butter works best.
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar Packed brown sugar is recommended.
  • 1 large egg At room temperature.
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
For Topping
  • 24 pieces milk chocolate kisses For pressing into the cookies.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix peanut butter, sugar, brown sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the flour mixture to the peanut butter mixture.
  5. Roll the dough into balls and place them on ungreased baking sheets.
Baking
  1. Bake for 10-12 minutes until lightly golden.
  2. Immediately press a chocolate kiss into the center of each cookie and allow them to cool.

Notes
