Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped onion, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, milk, 1/4 cup ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, beaten egg, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Mix everything together until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
- Spread the remaining 1/4 cup of ketchup evenly over the top of the meatloaf.
Cooking
- Bake for about 1 hour or until the meatloaf reaches an internal temperature of 160°F (70°C).
- Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
