Dough Preparation
- In a small pot, heat the milk until warm. Sprinkle the yeast on top and let it sit for about 5 minutes.
- In a large bowl, combine sugar, flour, eggs, and salt. Pour in the yeast mixture and melted butter. Mix well until a dough forms.
- Knead on a floured surface for about 5-10 minutes until smooth.
- Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1-2 hours until doubled in size.
Filling Preparation
- In a bowl, mix softened butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
- When the dough has risen, roll it out into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick. Spread the filling evenly over the dough.
Assembly & Baking
- Roll the dough tightly into a log and cut into slices.
- Place the slices in a greased baking dish. Pour the heavy cream over the top.
- Let it rise for another 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
Cream Cheese Icing
- In a bowl, beat together cream cheese, butter, heavy cream, and icing sugar for the icing.
- Drizzle over the warm rolls.
