Dough Preparation
- Warm the milk until it's comfortable to touch.
- Mix in the yeast and let it sit for about 5 minutes until bubbly.
- In a large bowl, combine sugar, flour, and salt.
- Add the yeast mixture, eggs, and butter to the dry ingredients.
- Mix until a dough forms, then knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth.
- Place the dough in an oiled bowl, cover it, and let it rise for 1 hour.
Filling Preparation
- In a bowl, mix brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
- Roll the dough into a rectangle and spread the softened butter over it.
- Sprinkle the filling evenly on top.
Assembly & Baking
- Roll the dough tightly and cut it into 12 pieces.
- Place the rolls in a greased baking dish.
- Cover and let rise for 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden.
Cream Cheese Icing
- Whip the cream cheese, butter, and heavy cream in a bowl.
- Add the icing sugar and mix until smooth.
- Drizzle over warm cinnamon rolls.
