Ingredients
  

Brownie Base
  • 1 cup unsalted butter Melted
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
Mousse Layer
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips Melted
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
Ganache
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 splash cream

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla until fully combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture just until combined.
  4. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25 to 30 minutes. Let them cool completely afterward.
Mousse Preparation
  1. For the mousse layer, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
  2. Melt the chocolate chips and allow them to cool slightly. Gently fold the melted chocolate into the whipped cream.
  3. Spread the mousse over the cooled brownies to create an even layer.
  4. Refrigerate the brownies for at least 2 hours to set the mousse.
Ganache Preparation
  1. To prepare the ganache, melt chocolate with a splash of cream.
  2. Pour this over the mousse layer and allow it to set completely before serving.

Notes
