  • 1 cup Fresh lime juice Juice from about 4 limes
  • 2 tablespoons Chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper
Chicken
  • 4 pieces Chicken breasts Make sure they are thawed if previously frozen
Optional Garnish
  • 1 cup Fresh cilantro Chopped, for garnish
  • 1 piece Avocado, sliced For serving
  • 1 cup Fresh salsa For serving

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, combine fresh lime juice, chili powder, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper to create a marinade.
  2. Add the chicken breasts to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Preheat the grill or oven to medium-high heat.
  2. Grill or bake the chicken for about 6-7 minutes per side, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F and is no longer pink inside.
  3. Allow the chicken to rest briefly before serving to keep it juicy.
