  • 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts Make sure the chicken is well-seasoned for best flavor.
  • 1 cup marinara sauce Using fresh marinara sauce offers a homemade taste.
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Stir into the dish just before serving for a gooey finish.
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese Can be adjusted according to preference.
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning Enhances the flavor of the chicken.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust seasoning according to personal taste.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  2. Heat a couple of tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  4. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked, reaching an internal temperature of 165°F.
  5. Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest before slicing.
Cooking
  1. In the same skillet, add the marinara sauce and bring it to a simmer.
  2. Add the cooked pasta and sliced chicken into the skillet, stirring everything together.
  3. Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese and let it melt.

Notes
