Preparation
- Heat a skillet over medium and melt the butter.
- Add the minced garlic and cook 1 to 2 minutes until fragrant. Do not let it brown.
- Add the cooked chicken. Sprinkle garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper over the chicken. Stir until the chicken is heated through and evenly seasoned.
- In a bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and half of the shredded cheese until smooth.
- Mix the seasoned chicken into the cheese mixture until evenly combined.
Assembly and Cooking
- Lay the tortillas flat. Divide the chicken-cheese mixture evenly among them. Top each with the remaining cheese.
- Fold in the sides, then roll the tortillas tightly, tucking in the ends to seal.
- Return the skillet to medium heat. Place the wraps seam side down in the pan. Cook 2 to 3 minutes per side until golden and the cheese melts. Press slightly with a spatula for even contact.
- Transfer to a plate. Garnish with parsley if desired. Serve warm.
