  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth (optional) Substitute with vegetable broth for a vegetarian option.
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Method
 

Cooking
  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the diced onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  4. Push the onion and garlic to the side, then add the ground turkey. Cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.
  5. Stir in the Brussels sprouts, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  6. If using, pour in chicken broth for added moisture.
  7. Cover the skillet and cook for about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the Brussels sprouts are tender.
