Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, protein powder, baking powder, salt, and pepper until evenly combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk the milk, plain Greek yogurt, and melted butter until smooth.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients. Stir gently with a spatula or wooden spoon until the dough just comes together. Stop when you still see a few streaks of flour.
- Fold in the shredded cheese and any optional herbs or spices until distributed.
Baking
- Using a spoon or an ice cream scoop, drop mounds of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, until the tops are golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the biscuits cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack. Serve warm or store as directed.

Notes
For make-ahead tips and meal-prep ideas, freeze cooled biscuits in a single layer on a tray until firm, then transfer to a freezer bag. Reheat from frozen in a 350°F (175°C) oven for 10–12 minutes or until heated through.
