Ingredients
  

Wet Ingredients
  • 3 pieces ripe bananas Use very ripe bananas for sweetness.
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup sugar Can be replaced with brown sugar.
  • 1 piece egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Dry Ingredients
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • a pinch salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour Can be substituted with whole wheat flour.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, start mashing the ripe bananas with a fork until they're smooth.
  3. Pour in the melted butter and mix it well with the bananas.
  4. Add the sugar, egg, and vanilla extract, and stir until everything is fully combined.
  5. Sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the mixture. Stir until incorporated.
  6. Gradually add the flour, mixing gently—avoid overmixing for the best texture.
  7. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan, smoothing the top out evenly.
Baking
  1. Bake for about 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  2. Let the bread cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.
