Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Cooking
- Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
- While the salmon is baking, melt the butter over medium heat in a small saucepan.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in the heavy cream, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Bring to a simmer and cook for about 2 to 3 minutes until it thickens slightly.
Serving
- Garnish the salmon with fresh parsley and serve with your choice of side dishes.
