  • 4 pieces salmon fillets Choose fresh fillets for best flavor and texture.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream Can be substituted with dairy-free cream.
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 piece lemon (juice) Freshly squeezed is recommended.
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • to taste fresh parsley for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Cooking
  1. Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
  2. While the salmon is baking, melt the butter over medium heat in a small saucepan.
  3. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Stir in the heavy cream, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Bring to a simmer and cook for about 2 to 3 minutes until it thickens slightly.
Serving
  1. Garnish the salmon with fresh parsley and serve with your choice of side dishes.

Notes
