Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, soy sauce, melted butter, honey, garlic powder, black pepper, and paprika until the mixture is smooth.
- Arrange the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin side down if applicable. Brush each fillet generously with half of the glaze.
Baking
- Place the salmon in the preheated oven and bake for 8 minutes.
- Remove the salmon from the oven, brush the fillets with the remaining glaze, and put them back in. Continue baking for another 8 to 10 minutes until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
- Take the salmon out, let it rest for about 2 minutes, sprinkle it with chopped parsley, and serve immediately.
