Ingredients

Shrimp Ingredients
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined (tails on or off as you prefer) Use large or jumbo shrimp for the best texture.
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese For a dairy-free option, swap parmesan for finely ground toasted breadcrumbs mixed with nutritional yeast.
  • 2 tablespoons garlic, minced Fresh is best for bright flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon paprika Smoked or sweet depending on preference.
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the parmesan, minced garlic, paprika, salt, and black pepper until evenly blended.
  3. Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels to help the coating stick. Drizzle with olive oil and toss to coat.
  4. Add the oiled shrimp to the parmesan mixture. Toss gently until each shrimp has a light, even coating.
Cooking
  1. Arrange shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Don’t crowd them—cook in batches if needed.
  2. Air fry for 6 to 8 minutes, shaking the basket or flipping halfway through. They should be opaque and slightly firm when done.
Serving
  1. Remove the shrimp, squeeze fresh lemon juice over them, and sprinkle with chopped parsley. Serve immediately.
